The Face Diet

Postby whitecotton » Thu Apr 02, 2009 4:24 pm

I am reading Face Diet book and it's a very interesting book. I've read some of the Weston Price material too and even though I believe that what we eat is who we are there is still things I don't understand. Like big ears. I always thought it was genetic and children's ears look like their parents or grandparents. In your book you say that umbelical cord helps to determine the size of ears, eyes and etc. It kind of makes sence and kind of not. My childhood friend has huge eyes, beautiful lips and streight teeth but her mother had heart problems and other health problems and also my friend had asthma and was sick often so how did she get those features? Unless what seems normal to me may not be. My sister in law family all seem to have large ears but yet their diet was just what's called the norm. My husband grew up eating modern diet he never had food from scratch not until he married me but yet at age 34 he just now found one cavity. He never had any dental work done in his life except for streightening his teeth. I had much better diet but my teeth most all have been worked on. My 3 y.o. son never ate white sugar, white flour or any other junk but when he was 1.5 y.o his two front teeth broke in half and now four front teeth have carries maybe because I nursed him at night. I am not saying my diet was perfect I was just beginning to eat healthy but it was still so much healthier then what my friends ate and fed their children but yet their children have normal teeth. Are there any explanations to this? Thank you so much.

Hi,
Yes, as per my book "the nutrients you received via your umbilical cord helped determine, for example, the size of your ears, eyes and oral cavity." Our constitutional and genetic strengths are shaped by our diet, environment and life style.

Yes, it is a whole new way of understanding ourselves. Keep on observing facial characteristics and you'll start to see patterns emerge. Distinguish between constitutional characteristics and current condition.

How wonderful for your family that you're all eating well.
May you be well nourished,
Rebecca

So i'm wondering about my daughter who had a knot so tight in the ambilical cord that it slowed her growth, as she grew invitro the knot tightened. She literally gulped amniotic fluid to stay alive, as it was down to 10% at her birth. She seems healthy with no obvious aliments. Bit I am to wonder how that affected her or will. Any insite or advise would be appreciated. Thank you.

What a testimony to life! We are obviously so much more than sum of our parts.

You have a precious healthy child. We rejoice in that. All I can offer is what I'm sure you are doing: continue to nourish her well and to the best of your ability--and leave the rest up to trust. What more could any child ask for?
May you be well nourished,
Rebecca
