I collect books on cooking and on nutrition the way other people collect refrigerator magnets or U-Name-It. My latest purchases are Love, Sanae by macrobiotic counselor Sanae Suzuki and Peter Reinhart's Whole Grain Breads -- new techniques, extraordinary flavor, from the author of The Bread Baker's Apprentice.
In Rebecca's recommended reading list elsewhere on this website, I noticed an entry for Annemarie Colbin on diet and your bones. Wouldn't you know, however, that the prolific Annemarie (who is now a newly minted PhD) has recently published a new book on the subject, which is wonderfully authoritative and contains a bevy of yummy new bone-healthy recipes. Here is the Amazon description of that book:

I've started reading Sanae's book, which focuses on the healing phase of the macrobiotic diet, which Sanae presents in the book's subtitle as "healing vegan macrobiotic cooking." The book is pricey, however, at $49.95, perhaps because it was self-published.
So what books on cooking or nutrition are you reading?

I don't own these but i'd consider:
3 Season Diet - John Douillard (lifespa.com has a grocery list from the book and some quizzes)
Ayurvedic Cooking for Self Healing - Usha & Vasant Lad (read it wasn't that flavorful but good learning material)
or check out:
