In time for Valentine's Day, here's a healthy chocolate treat plus the solution for enjoying chocolate in moderation.
"I am addicted to chocolate," is a common complaint that I hear from clients and friends. If you over indulge in chocolate, it's easy to free yourself and gain control over your dietary choices. Honest. Here's the secret.
Daily enjoy and savor three balanced meals. When your nutritional needs are met and a meal satisfies you, your cravings are history. It's that easy. If, however, you skip a meal, scrimp on a meal or eat it on the run, the odds are that soon you'll find yourself munching something chocolate.
Admittedly, there is an exception. If you are sensitive or allergic to certain foods and still eat them, this creates confusion within your body, mind and spirit. It makes normal eating virtually impossible. If this is your case, I do hope you'll address and remedy your sensitivities.
Here's my favorite chocolate pudding recipe and it happens to be dairy-free.
